“My Home Blog” is a reflection of my life as a retiree in the Var, at the heart of the magnificent Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
As the mood takes me, I enjoy (re)discovering this exceptional land, rich in heritage, with its quintessential Provençal architecture and enchanting landscapes.
I stroll through its towns and villages, soaking up their unique character, delighting in their curiosities, and savoring the treasures of a cuisine full of authentic flavors.
Originally from Belgium, and because a touch of escapism is always welcome, I occasionally return to explore that wonderful little country so dear to my heart.
I also venture beyond Provence, discovering other regions of France—and, from time to time, even crossing borders to experience new cultures and other forms of beauty.
